NSW COOL CLIMATE WINE DINNER:
Premium Italian Varietals from The Southern Highlands and Hilltops
NSW’s cool climate wine regions are among Australia’s most innovative and exciting, producing exceptional wines that showcase both the remarkable skill of local winemakers and the unique conditions that these stunning agricultural areas have to offer.
At The Restaurant Pendolino’s NSW Cool Climate Wine Dinner - part of the annual Good Food Guide calendar of events - two of NSW’s most recognised and highly awarded cool climate wineries will showcase their interpretation of unique Italian varietals. Brian Freeman, winemaker at FREEMAN Vineyards, located in NSW’s Hilltops region, will guide you through a selection from his Italian inspired range of wines, consistently awarded a prestigious 5-Star Rating in the esteemed Halliday Wine Companion. He will be joined by Jonathan Holgate of Tertini Wines, a Southern Highlands winery included in Gourmet Traveller WINE Magazine’s Best Cellar Doors every year since 2014. Co-hosted by The Restaurant Pendolino’s group sommelier, Cristian Casarin, and with an exquisite 4 course menu designed by executive chef Nino Zoccali, this unique Wine Dinner will celebrate NSW cool climate regions’ fascinating marriage of Italian and Australian winemaking cultures.
