An exceptional Barolo from one of the most noteworthy grower producers in the tiny commune of La Morra. From vines up to 60 years old, the wine is aged 26 months in old oak casks and spends another 6 months in bottle before release. Fruit and earthy aromas intertwine, with plum, cherry, leather, tar and liquorice all playing a part. On the palate, this is a complex wine, with fine tannins, medium to full body, with delicious juicy fruits, dried flowers, and a lingering finish. Cellaring up to 2040.
